Lattice

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

The short version

  • You can cancel anytime and keep using Lattice until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • We don't offer refunds for monthly or yearly subscriptions, including partial periods or unused time.
  • We always refund billing mistakes, such as being charged twice.
  • If the law in your country gives you a right to a refund, that right still applies.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing → Manage billing. When you cancel:

  • your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period (month or year) you've already paid for;
  • you won't be charged again;
  • after the period ends, your Lattice licence stops working until you subscribe again.

If you switch from yearly to monthly, the change takes effect at the end of your current yearly period.

2. No refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. This includes:

  • monthly and yearly subscription payments;
  • renewals, including yearly renewals you forgot to cancel;
  • partial billing periods, unused time and unused devices.

We may remind you by email before a yearly subscription renews, so you have time to cancel if you don't want to continue.

3. Exceptions

Billing errors

If you were charged by mistake (for example, charged twice for the same period, or charged after you had cancelled), contact us and we'll refund the incorrect charge to your original payment method.

First purchase

We may, at our discretion, consider a refund requested within 7 days of your first purchase. This is not a guarantee, and it doesn't apply to renewals.

Your legal rights

Some laws give consumers rights that a business can't take away. For example, consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom may have a right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days. For digital content and services that start immediately, this right can end once you've expressly agreed at checkout to get immediate access and acknowledged that you lose the right to withdraw. Where such a right applies to you, we'll honour it.

4. How to request a refund

Email hello@latticecode.dev from the email address on your Lattice account and include:

  • the date and amount of the charge;
  • your invoice or receipt number, if you have it (you can find it in Manage billing);
  • a short explanation.

We'll reply within a few business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method; banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show them.

5. Please contact us before disputing a charge

If something looks wrong, please email us first. We'll sort out genuine mistakes quickly. Opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank without contacting us may lead to your account being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.

6. Payments through Stripe and Link

Payments are processed by Stripe, and for many purchases Link (a Stripe service) is the reseller or merchant of record. Where Link is the seller, its terms shown at checkout also apply, and some refund requests may be handled together with Link.
